PD (Pupillary Distance)*

The distance between your pupils in millimeters. Most adults are between 54 and 70 mm.

How do I find my PD?

PD is a fitting measurement, so it is often not on the prescription. If yours lists it, use that number. If it lists a smaller number near 30 for each eye, add the two together. No PD on hand? Ask your eye doctor, or use the try-on tool on the frames page to estimate it, then confirm with your provider.

If your prescription includes an addition (ADD), you need correction for multiple distances, requiring either progressive or bifocal lenses. Segment Height (SH) is the vertical measurement from the bottom of the lens to the start of the ADD on Progressive lenses, or to the top line of a Bifocal.
